The difference between chastity and virginity - Karpu VS Kanni

Virginity of meenachis is an obsession for machas. Machas keep frothing at the mouth on why virginity is critical, denying all medical proof that virginity is nonexistent physical wise - only mental wise. The first time you had sex, your virginity is gone no matter if you’re male or female.

Karpu/chastity on the other hand is a divine term - it constitutes of loyalty. Natpukkum karpu undu (there is even chastity in friendship) What this phrase means is loyalty. When you are bound to someone who trusts you, it’s your responsibility to keep the trust intact.

Chastity is beyond virginity. A girl/guy might have had premarital sex and lost her/his virginity, then marry someone else. What’s important now is that the married girl/guy be loyal to her/his husband/wife. That chastity is what nourishes the love between the two of them. Virginity is fleeting, chastity is for a lifetime.

Even rape is termed as ‘karpallipu’ in Tamizh. In Malay, mencabul kehormatan (perverting dignity). They don’t say kanni allipu (virginity decimating) It’s because virginity does not equalize to one’s self respect - chastity does.

Last year Deepika Padukone made a video titled ‘My Choice’ which stupidly spoke of women’s choice to have sex outside of marriage. This is stupid women empowering or human empowering because it’s not right for anyone to ruin the sanctity of marriage by choosing to have sex outside of marriage. It’s the breaching of trust and chastity. Surely, we’re not products of the Dark Ages to wear chastity belts.

The point is, it’s okay how a girl/guy had been in the past - fretting on something that can’t be changed is doltish. The matter is being true and loyal to your partner now and maintain your committed chastity at present.

So, only chastity matters in life, not virginity so stop barking like rabid dogs on the issue on how important virginity is for a girl because it denotes purity. How pure is a girl who is yet to have intercourse but strips for guys? How pure is a guy who faps to porn daily?
