You want alimony abolished? Do your part!

 So, we have a veembu pudicha (no objectivity) follower posting shit comments that have no basis in reality. She has the habit of deleting her comments after being replied and today, I caught her before she could delete:

If women are not stopped from working, men not being insecure about women making headway, then women can give alimony to men and vice versa depending on the individuality of the case. Also, why need alimony anyway? We're fucking adults who should be able to self sustain. Revamp state welfare and raise income tax - don't evade taxation. If a citizen is out of work/disabled, state welfare should be provided until the citizen finds a job. Citizens shouldn't be complacent tho. Butthi ah maathanum. Only pay for childcare. Your children are your responsibility, your ex-spouse isn't. Also, don't be so hung up on marriage. Relax your culture. Come to the point where having children before marriage is accepted. Can? Cannot? So, don't give stupid challenges when you are not ready to change. But, true to my saying, this type of state welfare cannot be done in India, at least not for now. Too many establishments and mindset political and social wise change are needed but I will tell you what can be done.

 First of all, ask the type of mentality that doesn’t encourage women working to stop. Working women have a bad rep of being loose. See how much support Sivakumar got for telling girls not to work in IT field. Parents openly say that education qualification for daughters is to only look good on the wedding invitation, not for them to work and earn. Grooms look for beautiful, young, 18-26 and obedient wife, not older, financially independent women. Change all these first then what men giving alimony? Women will give alimony to men. Can ‘manly’ ego take it? Will the society accept men getting alimony and not go, “Pombala kaasula sapdran, ithukku nattukittu saghalam”? (He should die rather than living on a woman's financial support) I totally support the judge who gave verdict for a woman with MS qualification to not get alimony because she can earn. She’s no longer married so she’s freer to work.  So, yes, encourage more women to get educated/have work skills and work instead of pushing them into marriage by 25 and stopping them from working. This helps men too as they won’t be solely burdened of taking care of the family – women will pitch in and fill in the gaps. Alimony should be given to the deserving, not to women. Can accept this ah Indian society?

Even Japan has this problem so I suggest you fucking expand your worldview. And, the Japanese govt is intervening to change things - to encourage more married Japanese women to work. Also, there are so many single mothers whose husband are either no more or abandoned them surviving without alimony. They are not divorced – widowed mothers would get husband’s pension but those women whose husband left them to survive on their own – working as cleaners, domestic workers, quarry stone breakers, daily wage labourers and 3D jobs. How about the wives of the farmers who committed suicide? Are you being encompassing? NOPE. Veembu. Oru paisaku pirojinam iladha veembu.
