Sai Pallavi salsa - what matters, dress or talent
I was browsing through Sai Pallavi dance on YouTube the other day and came across she doing the salsa. Sai Pallavi is indeed an awesome dancer. I scrolled down the video and the comments there are puke inducing - everyone were so focused on Sai’s dress. Also, there were comments that said Tamil girls won’t wear like this. But, this comment takes the crown:
“yen yaa.... avaloda jatti lam theriyaraa maari eppidi paaparaapa'nu aduthuu.....ellamaye clear theriyuthu....” (dude, she’s dancing so stridently, her underwear is showing, everything can be seen clearly)
Pardon my language but these guys are mofos. There was Sai Pallavi, doing what most of us can’t dream of doing in this life and other lives to come, and all you can see is her jatti showing? Why is the concentration on which body part of Sai Pallavi is exposed and not her graceful moves? Why does her talent doesn’t meet your eye but only her body becomes a subject of your interest? Why are you so goddamn gatal? For salsa, that is the dress like how swimsuit is for swimming - but when Indian girls wear such attire to do such activities, they are slut shamed in the name of culture, Olympic medalist, PV Sindhu is also not spared.
When I searched for Sai Pallavi’s pics, I came across the Google suggestion Sai Pallavi hot navel. Curious, i clicked on it and it was the zoom when Sai Pallavi danced that her saree gave way at her belly - she didn’t pose baring her midriff in a photoshoot. So eeeww la guys who come up with such captions. These are the guys who zoom at a breastfeeding mother to see what color her nipples are. Now imagine some other guy doing it to your mother when she was breastfeeding you.
The hypocrisy is so bright it burns my eyes - on one side there are Indian guys who are so concerned about culture which is entirely proportional to women’s dressing scantily and on the other side, the same guys focus on the inadvertent slip of Sai Pallavi’s sari which covers her whole body as per your culture standards when she dances. What the fuck you think women are? You will police them when they show skin then take perverse pleasure in the peeks of flesh that the women don't intend to show? Fucked up as fuck really - now I know you will only focus on the f word I used, not the issue addressed here - this is what moral policing does to males. It makes them want to scrutinize and control women. If they lose that control, it makes them lose their qualification as ambala.
It’s utterly pathetic that many Indian men are unable to look at a woman more than her body - a woman has talents and acumen and is not just a piece of meat. Look at her capacity and capabilities that transcend her body. Just for the record, Sai Pallavi is a medical doctor besides being a trained dancer and a talented actress. When Sai doesn’t dance and star in movies, she saves lives - one has to respect that.
