Enough of telling women not to misuse #MeToo & start telling men not to misuse their power

If they did say something against the men in power identified as misusing their power, then #metoo wouldn’t have exploded the way it has now. Women won’t be this angry, disenchanted, suspicious, vengeful and disillusioned to make false allegations, not that I am defending such women.
For every Indian man I counted on this page so far drilling their worry is #metoo being misused, “every week a famous man is being accused, it’s a scary time to be a man, women can just accuse any man and he will be finished, that men are the real victims of #metoo,” citing the one-off case, the Rohtak sisters, I counted 0 Indian men saying, “Men in power, with great power, comes great responsibility. Don’t misuse your power”
Sri Reddy got shamed, left, right, up and down. She was called that name, this name. No one squeaked that even if her allegations are untrue, men in power should behave better although everyone knows that casting couch exists.

I want to ask some questions again to these Indian men so silent about powerful men that have open secrets that they abuse their power to get sex but so concerned about #metoo being misused by women:
1.       How many famous men were ‘metooed’ worldwide? 100? Not a life-changing number.
2.       If the men put the condition, sleep with me and I will give you job/film role/phd degree, and not follow meritocracy how can we get the best quality female workforce?
3.       What do professional ethics mean to you? Powerful men saying, “If you don’t want to adjust with me, your loss. Plenty of other women who will. You’re stupid.” “If you won’t sleep with me, I will mess your grades up.”? And then blaming the women who acquiesced, saying shit like ‘you did this to come up in life, you dishonored woman and you complain’ is justice? The men abusing their power are honored and going, ‘nee illana innorthi paduka otthupa’ (if not you, another woman will agree to sleep with me) is dignified?

It’s increasingly obvious. Not only these Indian men petrified and wielding victimhood, finding ways to continuously blame women, but the main thing is also, they don’t want to change the corrupt power systems held by males. Nirmala Devi was arrested and publicly named and shamed but the men she brokered for are nowhere to be seen – who the governor is, is still a mystery. Also, the men didn’t get any flak.
These men use a one-off case, the Rohtak sisters and say that the exception is the general rule. Women coming out in droves saying consistent stories get asked stupid questions and when they answer, no one listens. Meanwhile, the accused famous man saying “I will face in court,” is enough reply and vindication of his innocence.
And, they have conditions. “If Sri Reddy slept with one or two men, ok but maligai kada list mari soldra (she's saying a list of men like groceries) .” Deii, asking ‘sleep with me if you want to get the film role’ itself is wrong, who are you to give a number that’s ‘ok’? It means that you are fucking ok with corruption and abuse of power. Spit on yourselves already.
You want a better society, the best workforce, the best and safe food, houses, the best quality life, you start by telling those in power not to misuse their power, not by protecting them and supporting their tactical silence and tactful replies. When you try to discredit a global movement spearheaded by women by citing one-off cases like the Rohtak sisters, it’s obvious that you are afraid. Maybe you sexually harassed someone, hence. Well, KK ran #MeTooMen and also called out to women to be honest and not falsely accuse anyone. But, not one person told men not to misuse their power.
Wonder why #MeToo isn’t a huge thing in countries like Iceland and Norway? FYI, no powerful, famous men got “MeTooed” there. It’s because the men there don’t abuse their power, don’t tell women how to dress and behave, if not, they will be raped – it’s mainly because the men there do their work ethically and leave the women alone. And, no one is above the law there – the countries are feminist and not one man was falsely accused there. They are some of the safest and happiest countries in the world.

For us though, this quote from the movie Indian applies:
“Thappu thappunu teriyadha vareikum thappu palaghi pochu.”
Aana penngal thappu panama irka manikku oru vaati reminder!

BIG FAT CORRUPT LENTILS!
